Each year, the National Religious Broadcasters Convention brings together Christian ministries and leaders who are using broadcast, digital, and emerging media tools to share the Good News of Jesus around the world. For many years, MEDIA Alliance International has been grateful for the opportunity to participate in this gathering—and in recent years, its global significance has continued to grow.
What was once primarily a place for MEDIA Alliance to advocate for international Christian media has increasingly become a place to connect directly with our global partners. More and more international ministry leaders are now attending NRB themselves, creating meaningful opportunities for face-to-face conversations that deepen relationships and strengthen collaboration.
At this year’s NRB Convention in Nashville, MEDIA Alliance was able—thanks to the generosity of our donors—to host a special gathering for ministry partners. In addition to this shared time together, our team met with partners through dozens of individual and small-group conversations throughout the convention.
These moments are invaluable. They allow us to listen closely to the challenges leaders are facing in their own cultural and ministry contexts, explore new connections between organizations, and spend time praying together for wisdom, endurance, and faithfulness. In a setting often filled with schedules and strategy, these relational moments remind us that ministry is ultimately about people.
We are grateful for opportunities like NRB that allow MEDIA Alliance to strengthen partnerships, encourage leaders, and continue building a global network committed to using media wisely and faithfully for the Gospel.
