In March 2024, MEDIA Alliance International hosted a special media training event in Istanbul for Iranian ministry and media leaders, some of whom quietly traveled out of Iran in order to attend.

Of all the training events MEDIA Alliance has held over the years, this gathering remains one of the most deeply appreciated and impactful. Because of ongoing security concerns, participants could not be photographed openly, and many continue to serve in environments where public Christian ministry carries significant risk.

Recently, we had the opportunity to reconnect with several of the attendees and hear how the training continues to shape their work today. One leader shared that the practical tools, encouragement, and relationships developed during the conference have made a substantial difference in their ministry efforts. He specifically noted that the strategies learned during the training directly contributed to a dramatic increase in the reach and effectiveness of their social media outreach.

In places where traditional ministry opportunities are limited, media has become an essential tool for sharing the hope of Christ. These leaders continue to faithfully serve in difficult circumstances, using every available platform to encourage believers and reach those searching for truth.

We recently received these photos from the gathering, reminding us once again of these dear brothers and sisters who are courageously doing ministry in a region that desperately needs the light of the Gospel.
